FanWorks opens registration on Feb. 23!

First, the big announcement:

Registration for FanWorks (Aug. 15-18) will open on Saturday, February 23!

More registration details and a preliminary con schedule will be posted next week!

Secondly, we're at work on some behind-the-scenes details right now, and in the coming weeks, we'll be rolling out a major website update containing our accessibility policy, programming outline, submission guidelines, and more. We'll keep you updated!

Hooray! I'm excited for more information.

However, would you be willing to remove the text color and size formatting from this post? As is, it overrides the personal settings of any user viewing the post from their reading page and creates an accessibility issue.

I have Saturday marked on my calendar! Any idea when more details about registration will be available? I want to convince my friends to sign up too, but it's a little hard without much info. :-)

Hi! Our major website update will be going live at the same time as registration. That'll contain all the information on reg costs & what's included, plus preliminary schedule, more information about the different events and panels, etc. (And we should have a time of day scheduled for reg opening by tonight or tomorrow, so we'll post that here once everything is coordinated!)
