fanworksThere will be a track dedicated to streaming vidshows (curated playlists of fanvids) for attending members to watch live with other attendees, or to watch at any time throughout or after the con weekend at their convenience.
In order to show vidshows, the con needs... vidshows! Each vidshow will run the length of one panel (45 minutes, or slightly under) and will be centered on a specific theme/topic submitted by the VJ (curator). Vidshows typically feature multiple vidders and fandoms. Examples of themed vidshows that have been created in the past can be found in the FanWorks 2019 archive. Additional examples are available in the VividCon and VidUKon archives.
Themed vidshow topic submissions open on August 30th and will close on September 6th. Until then, please share your ideas in the comments! If you have ideas for vidshows but don't want to commit to VJing, this is a great time to share those ideas - make sure to note if your vidshow topics are free to a good home, and maybe someone will want to VJ one!
